Minimal care required! Make a little dishwashing detergent bubble bath and soak your pieces. Scrub with a soft bristled brush if needed. Then rinse with clean water and dry with a soft towel. Store pieces separately to avoid scratching. Avoid rough surfaces during wear.

Lightning Threaded Flat Back Studs (Pair)
I love these flat back studs, when I’m able to get them in my ears. I have small earlobes and thick fingers, rocking nubby nails at the moment. Definitely struggled to get them on, but I can appreciate the thought of the stem being the part that goes into your ear first from the back and screwing on the decoration on the front, making it easier to see what you’re doing. I think the gauge of the stem should be a little thicker? Maybe it would be easier to get them on if it wasn’t so thin/tiny. Like someone else said, these are a novelty. Definitely not meant to be left in for sleeping, even though they have a flat back. The lightning bolt can poke your ear if at the wrong angle when you lie down and they can catch your hair if it’s windy or you’re moving around a lot. Other than all that, I still like them and will keep wearing them from time to time!
The studs are tricky to put in - they may require a little stretching compared to a classic earring gauge but are super cute on and very comfortable to wear. The lightning bolt seems a little easier to screw on than other shapes but these unscrew easily and may not be practical for daily wear.
I tried out the studs to sleep in and they're comfortable once you get them on! They look cute and you don't have to take them off to sleep which is cool. However, I did experience some challenges getting them on and off. The thread goes through the back of the ear and you screw the front on, which makes sense so you can see it but it was still a challenge going through the back. The tiny screw takes a long time to thread and screw in. It was also hard figuring out which way to screw (i.e. is it my right to tighten or what would be right if someone was facing me). Also the back is so smooth that it's hard to hold to tighten and loosen.
Taking them off was a bigger challenge because of the smooth back. Apparently my hair got caught in one, and tangled around the thread and it took 10-15minutes and very sore fingers to be able to grip the smooth back tight enough that it would stay still as I unscrewed the front.
Honestly, it is good in theory but it's just easier to take your earrings off before bed. The lightning design is cute and the quality is awesome like all the ready made stuff!
I really wanted to love these but the process of trying to put them in was utterly frustrating and darn near impossible. The tiny little front part (the lightning rod) was so hard to hold onto at the right angle to get it screwed together.
The post of these earrings are SO short they’re literally impossible to put in any of my piercings and returns are not available. Wouldn’t recommend these earrings to ANYONE.
