I got yellow gold color. I’ve been wanting a real gold herringbone chain for years, but can’t yet justify spending the money on one. For the price of this chain, you really can’t beat it! I haven’t had it for very long, so I can’t attest to it staying gold. (I hope it does) but it looks great. I don’t think anyone would realize this isn’t real gold. I have real 14k gold hoops that I wear every day, and you can’t notice a difference between the two materials.
I got the 16” chain first but it looked more like a choker on me, which wasn’t what I was going for. The exchange process was super easy and I got the 18” which is perfect!
I highly recommend this jewelry if you’re looking for a cheaper alternative to yellow gold or gold plated. I wish I could upload a picture with a my review so I could show how good it actually looks!

This chain was beautiful! I ordered the wrong size for my chubby self and the customer service was wonderful in helping me navigate an exchange. I also have three pairs of earrings from here which I wear daily. I’m super sensitive to metals and have experienced absolutely no discoloration or discomfort with the products not to mention they are well made and look expensive. 14/10 Recommend this brand to anyone.🖤
It looks daintier than I thought, which is a good thing! The engraving is not as obvious as the photos but I like the subtlety of it. Highly recommend the 16" for everyday wear!
This herringbone chain is gorgeous! It's so shiny, smooth, and does not snag my long hair. The price point is so affordable and I love that you can add pendants to it or wear it alone as a statement piece!
I was worried that it would get tangled in my hair or pinch me with the amount of little spiny things it has but I’ve been sleeping in it and have had no problems. And being able to sleep in my jewelry is very important to me. It’s also very nice to look at.

I bought this necklace a year ago, and haven’t ever taken it off. It shows absolutely no wear, although I have showered, worked out, and wear it in a chlorinated pool almost daily. I get so many compliments on it!!
Wore it in the ocean and pool for three days. Still beautiful after almost a year. I never take it off.

While we last longer than traditional jewelry, there are a few things to keep in mind.
Hardware Pieces:
General rule of thumb: All pieces are waterproof and chemical resistant, but be mindful of scratches. Refrain from contact with hard and rough surfaces. For this reason, we don’t recommend wearing rings and chains in the shower daily (too much inadvertent contact with loofahs and/or physical exfoliants).

Our stones are lab made and function just like mined gemstones. As such, be extra careful when washing hands, and rinse jewelry with clean water after contact with sweat, soaps, and shower gels.

Yes, yes, yes. Ready-Made was created with the sensitive wearer in mind. We only use biocompatible materials that don’t harm living tissue. In fact, the materials we use are relied on extensively in the medical field as surgical tools and implants. We need to note that all stainless steel including our 316L stainless steel is composed of 5% nickel, but 316L is still certified as medical grade and biocompatible as the nickel is incorporated into the metal in a way that causes no skin reactions or harm. Less than 0.1% of the population can still have reactions to stainless steel, but you would know if this is true for you as something as ordinary as buttons on jeans would have caused an allergic reaction.

Ready-Made has the health of the planet as a priority. Our core metal, stainless steel, is one of the most reused and recyclable metals on the planet, with more than an 85% strength retention rate. Our high-tech color plating processes release no fumes into the environment and leave no residue or liquids behind. We also don’t rely on any chemicals to change the coating color of our pieces, relying instead on wavelengths. We use 100% recyclable cellulose envelopes and mailers, 100% recycled paper for our cards and boxes, and have moved away from relying on plastic packaging to transport and store our inventory.

Every manufacturer that we collaborate with is ISO certified, meaning that they meet certain standards in occupational health and safety, environmental friendliness and compliance, and quality assurance and efficiency. Our founding team also periodically visits each factory for internal audits. They are also in direct communication with all factory managers. Our hazard-free manufacturing processes neither release fumes nor leave behind residues.

We don’t use traditional metals for three main reasons:
1. Transparency. There’s a lot of talk about fair mined metals, but not a lot being done to prove this transparency. Getting to the source of gold and gemstones including recycled and reclaimed gold was a hurdle we weren’t able to overcome with certainty when we were starting Ready-Made and thinking about how to offer quality jewelry made with integrity. Vendors giving us their word didn’t feel enough.
2. The traditional manufacturing process for gold plating isn’t eco-friendly. Due to the nature of soft metals, traditional processes like wet plating and heat are utilized, and that can not only cause damage to the environment, but can also be harmful to factory workers.
3. We want to take the guesswork out of alloys (mixed metals). The materials we use - surgical stainless steel and titanium nitrite - are used in the medical field as surgical tools and implants. For the most part, our tissues don’t reject these two materials. With gold, silver, and brass, there’s always that risk of these alloys being mixed with metals that your body isn’t compatible with, leading to irritation.
