Waterproof, but not recommend for daily shower wear due to abrasive contact with loofahs and interaction with chemicals we can't account for. Matte black coating will scratch over time to reveal the underlying 316L steel. We love the look, though, and think it brings a certain wear and aged effect to the chains, as they begin to look like blackened steel.

Minimal care required! Make a little dishwashing detergent bubble bath and soak your pieces. Scrub with a soft bristled brush if needed. Then rinse with clean water and dry with a soft towel. Store pieces separately to avoid scratching. Avoid rough surfaces during wear.
Our Tinite coating gives the closest color match to 18k gold you'll find. It's a super-strong ceramic applied through vacuum plating that maintains consistent color—unlike traditional gold plating that sometimes looks too orange or fades within weeks. Snake Chain
I purchased this in hopes of adding a pendant, but the biggest flaw with the ready made items is the necklace clasp and attached branding tag are too small to fit pendants. Really a bummer.
I like the necklace and I'll keep it but it does make my skin itchy after several hours. It's very pretty - I love the delicate chain and the way it looks on me. I fell asleep in it once and woke up in the night because I was so itchy. I think if I only wear it for 5 or 6 hours at a time, though, it's tolerable.
