RETURNS/EXCHANGES

What is your Return and Exchange Policy?

How do I make a return or exchange (US)?

Please visit returns.ready-made.co and enter your order number and email address or ZIP code used to placed the order. Follow the prompts thereafter.

How do I make a return or exchange (International)?

For international returns, please email support@ready-made.co. Unfortunately, we are unable to process exchanges for international orders.

Do you provide return shipping labels?

Yes, pre-paid labels are provided for your convenience via Loop (returns.ready-made.co). They will be generated during the Returns/Exchange process for you to print and attach to the outside of your package/box.

Do you charge handling fees for Returns?

We charge a handling fee which completely covers the cost of the return shipping label. The cost will be calculated based on your shipping address. The maximum fee is $4.00.

Do you charge handling fees for Exchanges?

No, we waive the handling fee for exchanges.

I threw away my packaging, can I still make a return or exchange?

Yes; please just wrap your item carefully in tissue paper or a small cloth bag to prevent it becoming scratched during transit.

I want to exchange for an item with a different price, is this possible?

Yes; you can select a different priced item during your Exchange Process via Loop (returns.ready-made.co). Please follow the prompts.

 

SHIPPING

What is the processing time for orders without engraving?

Please allow up to 4 business days (non-holiday season) for us to process your order. 

What is the processing time for orders with engraving?

We usually ship out within 4 business days, but please expect up to 6 business days for us to personalize your order.

Where do you ship your products from?

We ship in-house from our studio in Pasadena, California.

What is Route Package Protection?

Route is a shipping insurance company that covers packages that are lost, stolen, or damaged in transit. Route ensures that customers get what they paid for, and allows for easy reordering at no extra cost with one click. Route lists their policies here on the lost, stolen, and damaged items it will cover.

What shipping options do you offer?

Standard shipping via USPS is $5.50 for all orders under $50. Orders over $50 receive free standard shipping. We offer USPS Priority and UPS Ground Shipping at checkout for $9, and Next Day UPS Shipping for $42. During Holidays, we offer additional shipping options. Please refer to Holiday FAQ here .

Which international countries do you ship to?

How much is International Shipping?

International Shipping to Canada is $12 via USPS, or $29 via DHL. International Shipping to other countries is a flat rate of $29 via USPS. Please visit our Shipping and Delivery page here. 

Can I change my address after my order has been shipped?

Sorry, as the package has already left our studio, we are unable to edit addresses after an order has been marked as fulfilled and shipped.

My order has been marked as “Returned to Sender,” what do I do?

Packages returned to us due to address errors will only be resent if the customer covers the shipping cost of $5.50. The customer must reach out and provide the correct address. Please email support@ready-made.co for further assistance.

 

ORDERS

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit/debit card payments via Visa, MasterCard, American Express; PayPal; Amazon Pay; Apple Pay; and Shop Pay Installments. 

How do I apply a discount code?

One discount code can be added during checkout. Simply enter the code when prompted to do so at the end of the checkout process. Please note that only one discount code can be used at a time, including discounts on bundles. Individual (non-bundle) discount codes are not applicable on nose bridge cuffs, silk items, engraving services/fees, shipping insurance, shipping fees, and other items as noted. 

I added a GAB Bundle to my cart, why can't I apply a discount code?

Since only one discount code can be used per order and our bundles are grouped together using a discount code specific to bundles, our cart system will process your order as already using one discount. You can, however, add two different bundles to one order. Unfortunately, other items in a cart that includes a bundle[s] cannot be discounted with another code.  

I want to change my order, how do I do that?

If your order has yet to be shipped, please email support@ready-made.co with your Order Number and the changes that need to be made.

Can I change my order after it has been shipped?

Sorry, as the package has already left our studio, we are unable to make any changes after an order has been marked as fulfilled and shipped.

I received my order and there are missing items, what do I do?

Please email support@ready-made.co with your Order Number and name of the missing item, and we’ll help you from there to send a replacement.

I received my order and there are incorrect items, what do I do?

Please email support@ready-made.co with your Order Number and name of the missing item; if possible, include a photo to expedite the replacement process. You are not required to ship back the incorrect items.

I think my item is defective, what do I do?

If upon receipt, your order contains defective items, please email support@ready-made.co with a photo or video and we will send a replacement immediately.  Please note that if the item is non-defective, you will be asked to revert to our usual Return/Exchange process.

Do I receive a sticker sheet in my order?

Orders that opt-in for a "Sticker Bombe packaging" will receive a free sticker sheet. There is no minimum order price requirement.

Do I receive a Ready-Made pen in my order?

As of 12/20/22, we have phased out our Ready-Made ballpoint pens and they are no longer offered as part of our packaging options.

 

ORDER LOST OR STOLEN

My order is lost or stolen, and I purchased Route Shipping Insurance, what do I do?

You can file a one-click claim through the email that Route sends you after you check out, or you can file here.

My order is lost or stolen, and I did not purchase Route Shipping Insurance, what do I do?

Unfortunately Ready-Made is unable to be responsible for lost and stolen packages and packages damaged during transit as Route handles all claims and reshipments on Ready-Made's behalf. However, we'd still want to help as best as we can, although we can't make any guarantees. Please email support@ready-made.co for further assistance.

 

MATERIALS

What is your jewelry made of?

Our base metal is Star Steel (from the 316L surgical steel family), and our gold and rose gold coating is a super strong ceramic found naturally only on the surface of asteroids — of course, we make ours here on Earth using a vacuum process with high pressure and titanium.

Is your jewelry nickel free?

Most of our jewelry is made out of surgical steel containing up to 7% nickel. However, it is classified as “hypoallergenic” meaning it is less likely to cause an allergic reaction. For more information, please visit here. Our titanium collection is nickel free. 

How do your pieces compare to 14k or 18k fine gold?

While the colors of karat gold differ from maker to maker due to the mix of alloy, we believe we are closer to the 14k shade based on side by side comparisons.

I am very allergic to gold, can I wear Ready-Made?

We use zero gold in our products, and it is safe for you to wear Ready-Made pieces.

I am very allergic to jewelry commonly found in the fashion space, can I wear Ready-Made?

You can absolutely give Ready-Made a try as we have eliminated metals such as brass or pot metal commonly found in the fashion jewelry space, especially at our price points. We have had success with many customers who were unable to wear fashion jewelry prior to Ready-Made. Please also refer to customer reviews on our product pages for verified feedback and comments.

I got an allergic reaction to your jewelry, what do I do?

In our experience, 1 out of 5000 customers will get a mild allergic reaction. Please email support@ready-made.co and we'll be sure to assist.

 

CARE/WEAR

Can I wear your jewelry in the shower?

Mostly yes; please visit here for detailed information.

Can I wear your jewelry to the beach?

Mostly yes; please visit here for detailed information.

Can I wear your jewelry in the pool?

Yes; be careful of scratching it against the sides of the pool and be mindful when toweling off.

Will the color of your jewelry fade over time?

Gold and Rose Gold Tones: With normal wear, your jewelry will never completely fade and lose its gold or rose gold treatment. However, depending on wear and activities, it could eventually turn from a 14k yellow gold or rose gold color to a lighter 10k gold or rose gold color. Keep in mind that our base metal has a darker, more bluish tint than other white metals and will reflect more blacks. This does not mean that your jewelry has faded. Silver Tone: Your jewelry is made completely out of Star Steel™ and the tone will remain unchanged.

 

PRODUCT

Can newly pierced ears wear your earrings?

We don’t recommend wearing our earrings in freshly pierced ears due to the posts of our earrings being slightly thicker (0.9mm) which can stretch the piercing and/or cause it to heal slower. Please refer to your piercing professional for their advice.

Are your ballback earrings internally or externally threaded?

They are externally threaded.

How often do you restock products?

We don’t have a set timeline, but we do aim to restock every six months for sold out items. The best way to stay notified is to sign up for our emails.

How do I get notified about restocks?

Please sign up to emails for general restock announcements or subscribe to individual product restock notifications that are available on the product page for each “coming soon” item.

 

COMPANY AND BRAND

Do you have a warranty?

As a small business, we don’t have an official warranty. However, we believe in our products and are always more than willing to help. Please send an email to support@ready-made.co.

Do you have a recycling program?

We are currently working on a sustainable recycling program.

I need help, who do I contact?

Please email support@ready-made.co and allow up to 48 hours (usually much shorter) for us to get back to you.

Do you offer wholesale?

Sorry, we don’t offer wholesale accounts.

Do you offer affiliate programs?
